Inspiring Sculptures Detail Chinese Mixed-Use Development

Lorenc+Yoo Design was retained by Greenland of Nanchang, China to continue our placemaking work for the high-end Lucerne Town mixed use project. With SWA group of Sausolito, California, Lorenc+Yoo designed a feature sculptural installation in the development’s fountain-integrated Music Plaza.

Multiple sculptures feature different musical instruments being played by spindly, angelic figures with wings. Jan Lorenc with associate Prszymyslaw Kordys developed the concept pieces, which are being evolved by Chinese sculptor studio in Nanchang, China.

Phase Two of The Lucerne Town’s Downtown District includes the sculptures along with various other placemaking elements, sculptures, and fountains.
