{"id":751,"date":"2012-05-11T17:27:31","date_gmt":"2012-05-11T22:27:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lorencdesign.com\/?p=751"},"modified":"2017-12-27T16:19:57","modified_gmt":"2017-12-27T21:19:57","slug":"greektown-casino","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lorencdesign.com\/zh\/archived-projects\/greektown-casino\/","title":{"rendered":"Greektown Casino"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>Client: Hnedak Bobo Group Location: Detroit, MI Type: <a href=\"https:\/\/lorencdesign.com\/hospitality\">Hospitality<\/a><\/p>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">Lorenc+Yoo Design re-envisioned the entire wayfinding and signage system for Detroit&#8217;s Greektown Casino. The exterior signage reflects the original signs, some of which are still in place, but with a modern twist. \u00a0Whereas the old signs used individual bulbs (think Broadway marquis signs), the new ones use LEDs. \u00a0The overall feel of the signs is the same, and use the full 5-color palette of the Greektown logo in both paint and neon.\u00a0The interior casino signs relied heavily on Greek theming, using patterns and colors found in the casino. \u00a0In the hotel however, the treatment is more refined, paying homage to the wonderful interior designed by the architecture firm Rossetti. \u00a0Prismatic gold letters mounted directly to dark wood walls lend an air of distinction.<\/div>\n<div id='gallery-2' class='gallery galleryid-751 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-thumbnail'><figure
